From the Scheduling module, the admin user can assign a skillset to a given Job Description (i.e., “Chemistry” or “Sterile Compounding” or “Pediatrics”), and the appropriate Competency assessments will be added automatically to all employees with that Job Description.
You can also take the opposite approach: from the Competency module, add an employee to a skillset, and as the Competency Assessments roll out on the next assessment period, the employee will be automatically qualified to the job descriptions that are associated.

It can be very helpful when inspection or audit time comes, as it
allows supervisors to quickly determine if someone was scheduled in
an area for which they were not qualified. Automating this process
allows supervisors and managers to make better use of their time by
uncovering current deficiencies and preventing future competency
assessment problems from developing at all.
